Indiana Region Cadillac and LaSalle Club

On November 7th 2009, members of the Indiana Region of the CLC met in Indianapolis for the annual planning meeting.
The weather was unseasonably warm and mild. The day started with a trip to the INDY 500 motor speedway and museum. After viewing the museum collection, the group drove a few miles away to the campus of Marian College where there are two famous mansions, the Stokely and Allison family homes. The group then drove a short distance to the The Iron Skillet restaurant. Tom Taylor spoke to the group with a very informative presentation. Featuring historical information about the Allison family and the many innovations, patents, and related businesses founded by their group of inventors and investors. Followed by the annual meeting and election of officers. At the meeting, webmaster Jim Snell was presented with the International CLC webmaster's award. The afternoon concluded with a delicious meal. Special thanks to Tom and Melaine Taylor for organizing the days activities.
